Speech
of the university Vice
The university's ability to achieve its goals and mission in building and developing society depends on its capacity to perform its various functions, which can be summarized in three main roles: transferring knowledge through education, producing knowledge through scientific research, and developing society through its outputs. Each function is interconnected and not an isolated effort. Instead of the concept of a university isolated from society, the university is presented as a force for community development.
The university aims to maximize the use of modern technology in implementing all its programs and achieving its goals in line with the demands of the times. This facilitates access to academic and administrative information at the required speed, enabling sound decision-making. The university strives to develop e-learning content for its academic programs and support scientific research efforts by linking college websites with relevant scientific journals and conferences. It also supports outstanding graduation projects and collaborative research and studies that serve both the university and the community.
We plan to develop a comprehensive vision for scientific research that serves the issues of the nation and society. This research will define priorities. Research is produced, published, and applied in practice to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice, followed by an evaluation of the impact of implementing the research. Conducting scientific research without publishing it is a waste of time, money, and resources. Published research is not enough; it must be applied.
Out of a sense of responsibility towards our future generations and their rights, we are obligated to open the widest horizons of knowledge for them and provide them with everything new and beneficial that fulfills their aspirations and paves the way for a bright future. We must make them building blocks in the nation's structure, contributing their intellect and efforts to shaping a better future that meets their hopes. It is unacceptable for our generations to remain isolated from the modern educational methods and tools that have emerged from modern technology, which now have their own global standards and diverse applications. In this context, the university strives to provide security, stability, and independence for its faculty and students by removing all obstacles, motivating all university members, and creating a work environment that fosters excellence in the pursuit of truth through science and learning. This is done to evaluate competitiveness and ranking standards and to achieve the university's mission, functions, and objectives.
May God grant us success.
