Secretariat of Academic Affairs:

The administrative structure of the Secretariat of Academic Affairs consists of two departments and three sections. Each department is headed by a director responsible to the Secretary of Academic Affairs, and each section is headed by an assistant to the Secretary of Academic Affairs, as follows:

1. Admissions and Registration Department:

This department is responsible for monitoring and implementing the decisions of the Admissions Committee and taking all necessary actions related to the admission and registration of students accepted to the university.

2. Teaching Assistants Department:
This department is responsible for overseeing the appointment, qualification, and training of teaching assistants, both internally and externally, in addition to supervising their services, addressing their issues and problems, and working to resolve them.

3. Examinations and Awards Department:

This department is responsible for overseeing university examinations, preparing and approving academic and honorary degrees and awards, and preparing and awarding graduation certificates at a ceremony the university holds annually.

4. Faculty Council Department:

This department is responsible for following up on and implementing the decisions and recommendations of the Faculty Council and maintaining a permanent record of meeting proceedings.

5. Faculty Promotions Department:

This department is responsible for providing secretarial services to the Promotions Committee in accordance with regulations and procedures, and for monitoring the implementation of its decisions. It receives departmental requests to bring in visiting professors, ensures that all required information and documents are complete, and submits them to the Secretary of Academic Affairs, who then forwards them to the University President. It also monitors the academic report written about the visiting professor's activities and maintains the records of reports and documents related to the visiting professor.

6. Department of Information Systems and Electronic Publishing:

This department is responsible for the following tasks: Creating and updating a database of university students and graduates. Publishing the annual university directory. Designing the university website in coordination with the Information Network and Technology Department. Editing the university website and regularly updating page information and digital content to reflect developments in the various colleges and units of the university. Providing the necessary information for evaluating the university's standing according to international standards. Supervising electronic publishing at the university in coordination with the Information Network and Technology Department.
