For admission to the Faculty of
Engineering and Architecture candidates must have passed the
Secondary School Certificate (Science Section) with credit in the
seven subjects which are considered in calculating the percentage,
including Advanced Mathematics. This should be in one certificate,
with one index number and for the same specified year. |

To register for the
Graduate Diploma degree candidates, must have obtained a B.Sc.
Honour
Degree in Engineering from the University of Khartoum or it
is equivalent. The duration of the study is one year. The Graduate
Diploma degree is awarded by courses only,
in various
specializations. |

For the M.Sc. degree candidates must have obtained a
Graduate Diploma or a B.Sc. Honours degree
in Engineering from the University of Khartoum or its
equivalent. The M.Sc. degree is awarded by research, or by courses,
or jointly by courses and research,
in various
specializations. |

Ph.D. degree candidates must have obtained an M.Sc. degree from the
University of Khartoum or its equivalent. The degree is
awarded by research in
various specializations of the Faculty.
The Ph.D. degree is awarded by research only. |
