The Faculty of Agriculture-University of Khartoum lies on east bank of Nile River few kilometres from the junction of the Blue and White niles in Khartoum North.

 
   
   

Historical Account:

The faculty was established at the beginning as a higher agricultural school in 1938 and belonging to Dept. of Agriculture till 1946

In 1946 it was affiliated in addition to other schools to Memorial Gordon College which was later called Universal Khartoum College (1951) and then in 1956 called University of Khartoum.

   
   

Faculty Teaching Facilites:

- 4 large lecture theatres (accommodate more than 200 students).
- 4 small lecture theatres (accommodate 40-100 students).
- 20 laboratories distributed all over the nine departments.
- Demonstration farm
- Training and research farm
  Agricultural Training and Community Service Unit
