Centesimal of Al-Tigani Al-Mahi (1911-1970)
- Professor Al-Tigani Al-Mahi,Professor of Medicine in University of khartoum,the father of Psychology in Africa and The Head of the Sudanese State 1n 1976.
- His library included 3000 unique manuscripts of his own, he donated it to the library of Khartoum University, which was inaugurated in January 8th 1973.
- Professor Al- Mahi graded on the fields of Academic Sciences till he graduated from Kitchener School of Medicine in the year 1935.
- His Curriculum vitae is exemplary for every researcher, and he was always saying: Bibliography is half scholarship.
- Professor Al-Tigani Al-Mahi was one of the language connoisseurs in the world, and he was fluent in Arabic, Latin, English, French, Hebrew and Persian.
- He was a reference in hieroglyphs, where he corrected the pronunciations of many of hieroglyphic words for students in universities and history museums.
- He established the first psychology clinic in Sudan (Al-Tigani Al-Mahi in Khartoum North) as well as the first department for psychology in Khartoum University..
- Sudanese Physicians, presented him as the president for the Sudanese Medical Association, and he was chosen by the International Organizations as an adviser for the International Health Organization (WHO) , besides he was elected as a member of the Council of Supremacy, and became the head of the council after the successes of October Revolution in 1964.
Colombia University (USA) honored his science, and awarded him the professorship.
