Uofk and with a number of different Sudanese universities participated in the Eighth Non National Students Rendezvous , where students came from different African and Asian nationalities.
The Rendezvous extended for one week in parallel with the Fifth Festival for Culture and Tourism in the Red Sea State, as the festival enriched the programme through culture and tourism aspects, and included innovative, intellectual activities and songs, as well as visits to tourism sites in the Red Sea State.
